About
Who we are.
The Operational Network is not a slogan. It is the people on this page, the careers behind them, and the relationships those careers built across the energy and resources sector.
Built by Operators
Operators, not marketers.
The four founders met towards the end of 2024 around a problem they had each watched for years: local operators struggling to identify technology from outside Western Australia that was already proving itself elsewhere.
The Hub is their answer. The network exists because these people are already in it, and the judgement behind every technology in the exhibition is theirs.
The People
The operational network, in person.

Chief Executive Officer
Ian Grant
The operational heart of the Hub and of Pulse. Highly regarded and deeply connected across the energy and resources community, Ian built the relationships the network runs on over a career inside it, and keeps the whole operation moving forward.

Director · Technology Services
Aston Ladzinski
Runs the Services side: vendor mobilisation, facilitation, and the operational path from a vendor's warehouse to an Australian operating site. Behind it sits a long history in operations and site improvement.

Director
Obi Gjerde
The one who sees a concept before anyone else has thought of it. Obi's judgement on where technology is heading, and his relationships across the Nordic technology community, are behind much of what stands in the exhibition.

Director · Pulse Nexus
Thrym Kristoffersen
Leads Pulse Nexus, the advisory arm. Thrym brings 35 years of offshore and onshore engineering to the independent recommendations Nexus is engaged to make, from naval architecture in Norway to operating assets in Australia.

Engineer
Ephraim Muguti
The engineering link between the Hub and the vendor community, working hands-on with the technologies behind the exhibition, including the Air2Work and E-Plug systems.
Years of combined operations experience
Technologies in the current exhibition
Industry pillars, from new energy to decommissioning
The Network
The conversation starts at peer level.
The people hosting it have stood where you stand, and no one will explain your own operation back to you. Come and meet them.
