Mobile breathing air for confined space and tank entry

Air2Work supplies the E-Compressor, a mobile breathing air system made and certified in Norway for work in classified areas. It delivers clean breathing air to people working inside vessels, habitats, and other enclosed spaces during confined space entry and tank work. It carries ATEX Zone 1 and IECEx certification, which means the unit itself can sit inside the hazardous area, next to the work it serves, rather than parked at a distance with long airlines run in.

What the unit does

The E-Compressor is 100% oil-free, so there is no risk of oil carryover into the breathing line. It runs seven-stage filtration and monitors the air continuously at the point of use, covering carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, oxygen, hydrogen sulphide, methane against the lower explosive limit, and dew point. When the supply falters or the atmosphere deteriorates, it switches to a stored emergency air source automatically and raises an audible and visual alarm, so the crew inside keeps breathing clean air while the situation is dealt with.

It comes in three capacities, 300, 600, and 800 litres a minute, the delivered air is temperature controlled, and the unit is compact enough to move through the tight access that confined space work usually involves. One box supplies certified air, monitors it, and backs itself up, which removes a set of separate steps and separate failure points from the job.
